CEN-CENELEC Sector Forum Energy Management and Energy Transition (SFEM) acts as an advisory and coordination body on policy and strategic matters in relation to standardization in the area of energy management, efficiency and transition.
SFEM provides strategic advice necessary to ensure a coordinated approach within CEN and CENELEC in energy related standardization, aligned with the European political and regulatory framework. SFEM is an enabling platform of exchanges among CEN and CENELEC Technical bodies and other stakeholders on the integration of energy systems, energy transition and sustainable finance.
The Sector Forum adapts its activity to the latest scientific and political trends. It gathers all stakeholders from innovation to business, from policy makers to consumers with the aim to pave the way from innovation to market and to anticipate needs for further standardization developments. The forum puts big emphasis on identifying the standardization needs for the energy transition and the financing tools for the energy efficiency.
