Electronic Public Procurement

CEN/TC 440 ‘Electronic Public Procurement’ is responsible for standardization in the field of e-procurement to support the electronic public procurement processes and their accompanying information flows in the physical and financial supply chain. This is to facilitate end-to-end e-procurement including both Pre-award and Post-award processes for public procurement. The TC has been granted a specific pilot project by CEN to address “derivative use”, i.e. the possibility to reproduce the contents of CEN/TC 440 deliverables in other materials. Electronic invoicing

CEN/TC 434 deals with electronic invoicing and has undertaken the standardization activities required by the Directive 2014/55/ EU. Following the publication of EN 16931-1 ‘Electronic Invoicing – Part 1: semantic data model of the core elements of an electronic invoice’ and related CEN/TS 16931-2, the TC is continuing its work, and will notably address syntax bindings and methodologies for using validation artefacts in electronic invoicing.
