These visibility projects play an important role in bridging the gap between different regulatory frameworks and fostering mutual understanding with key trading partners. SESEC (Seconded European Standardization Expert in China) and SESEI (Seconded European Standardization Expert to India) are jointly funded by the 5 key players of the European Standardization System - the European Commission, the European Free Trade Association, CEN, CENELEC and ETSI - to channel information, to open dialogues and expand contact networks as well as to promote the principles of the European Standardization System.
Through these projects, stakeholders from Europe and China/India can collaborate more effectively with accurate and timely information and contributing to a more effective international standardization system.
