Highlights in Circular Economy standardization – 3rd event

This webinar is organised by the CEN-CENELEC SABE Topic Group Circular Economy (SABE CE-TG) with the objective of providing guidance to CEN and CENELEC Technical Bodies in the preparation of circular economy related standards. This workshop will provide participants with practical information regarding standardization activities and best practices related to circular economy and material efficiency topics from three CEN Technical Committees.

• Kristin Geidenmark, Convenor of CEN/TC 249/WG 11 'Plastics recycling'– sharing insights on the plastics recycling coordination group and standardization request on plastics recycling, recycled plastics.
• Edwin Maes, convenor of CEN/TC 248/WG 39 ‘Circular Economy for textile products & the textile chain’ – where to start with standards on circularity – tip and tricks.
• Gilles Swyngedauw, convenor of CEN/TC 261/SC 4 ‘Degradability and organic recycling of packaging and packaging material’ – sharing activities on circularity and recyclability of packaging in view of the revision of the packaging and packaging waste directive.
