This training is organised for Technical Committees (TCs) and Working Groups (WGs) that want to determine if the standards they are responsible for should consider vulnerabilities, impacts and risks as well as opportunities associated with climate change. This training will be particularly useful for those TCs and WGs that develop infrastructure or non-infrastructure standards that are affected by the latest draft Standardization Request (SReq) from the European Commission.
The CEN and CENELEC Technical Bodies affected by the last draft SReq are the following:
- CEN/TC 147 Cranes – Safety
- CEN/TC 193 Adhesives
- CEN/TC 219 Cathodic protection
- CEN/TC 262 Metallic and other inorganic coatings, including for corrosion protection and corrosion testing of metals and alloys
- CEN/TC 408 Natural gas and biomethane for use in transport and biomethane for injection in the natural gas grid
- CEN/TC 430 Nuclear energy, nuclear technologies, and radiological protection
- CLC/TC 14 Power transformers
- CLC/TC 20 Electric cables
- CLC/TC 45AX Nuclear power plants – Electrical power system – General requirements
