Workshop on the results of Workstream 6 on Low-Carbon Cement

The standardisation of low-carbon cement is a key issue for the decarbonization of the construction industry. The cement industry accounts for around 7-8% of global greenhouse gas emissions (4% in Europe). In view of the revision of the Construction Products Regulation and the existence of non-harmonised standards covering the various components of the construction sector, the High Level Forum on European Standardisation (HLF) explored actions to facilitate and accelerate the use of these innovative products.

Climate Adaptation & Resilience in Infrastructure Standards – Workshop on collaboration between standards users, writers and data providers to foster long term climate resilience
