With modern communication needs, the ability of hearing becomes more and more important. Therefore, it is critical to protect our hearing and enable communication even in noisy environments.
CEN/TC 159 “Hearing protection” is focussing on describing requirements for hearing protection to make sure that products put on the market are safe and do protect users. Additionally, it gives guidelines on how to best select, use and maintain hearing protection.
