This CEN Workshop plans to share feedbacks on standardization needs in social responsibility, to analyse and to describe the current and the potential future trends in relation to the Agenda 2030 (SDGs): poverty and inequalities, demography, environmental degradation and climate change, shocks and crises, development cooperation and financing for development and technological innovation.
The planned CEN Workshop will analyse and describe the current and the foreseeable future trends of social responsibility, in order to identify potential standardisation needs.
Social responsibility is defined as the responsibility of an organization for the impacts of its decisions and activities on society and the environment through transparent and ethical behaviour that:
All types of organization are concerned by social responsibility, whatever their size, activity and location: consumers, government, business including SMEs, labour, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and service, support, research, academics and others…
The kick-off meeting will be held on Tuesday 12 February 2021. Because of the circumstances related to Covid-19, the kick-off meeting will be online. In order to attend the kick-off meeting, please register prior to the meeting through the ZOOM link provided in the draft agenda.
