On 15 June 2022, SBS will organise its annual conference on the topic of “SMEs setting the standard for sustainable products – Drivers and challenges”. The conference, moderated by Jennifer Baker, will focus on the Sustainable Product Initiative, the impact of the new proposals on European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the role of standards in their implementation.
The event will focus on two product groups that have a significant impact on the environment and have also been targeted by the Commission’s initiative: construction and textiles. A panel will also be dedicated to the future Digital Product Passport to discuss how we can ensure that it can be easily implemented and used by SMEs.
The conference will be held online from 13.15 to 16.30.
