Discover the nominees of the Standards+Innovation Awards 2024

On 30 June, the call for nominations to the CEN and CENELEC Standards+Innovation Awards 2024 closed. A total of 25 nominations have been put forward by the CEN and CENELEC Members, representing valuable contributions to work on standardization.

This year’s edition of the Standards+Innovation Awards includes 3 categories:

  • The Project category is dedicated to a European research project that has successfully contributed to standardization: 8 projects have been nominated.
  • The Individual researcher/innovator category awards an individual who has successfully introduced their research or innovation into standardization: 9 nominations have been received.
  • The Young Researcher category recognizes individual students no older than 30 years who have addressed standardization in their academic theses, doctoral dissertation or other academic projects: 8 nominations have been submitted in this category.

The nominations will be assessed by an evaluation committee composed of members of the CEN-CENELEC BT/WG STAIR (STAndardization, Innovation & Research).

 

The winners will be announced in an award ceremony in Brussels in the last quarter of the year.
