The 35th ANEC General Assembly meeting held on 11-12 June 2024 in Brussels endorsed the ANEC Annual Review 2023/2024. The report showcases ANEC's key accomplishments in 2023 and the work planned for 2024.
In summary, ANEC was actively involved in 866 meetings throughout 2023, submitted at least 401 sets of written comments on draft standards, and provided 57 opinions to CEN and CENELEC on European standards up for vote.
ANEC President Dermott Jewell praised the outstanding Annual Review, stating "ANEC has engaged in many actions for many years through extraordinarily consumer focused and committed experts and advocates. For many, it reflects a lifetime’s work, readily given, that stands as a testament to our Members, our experts, our staff, their skills and our enormous combined contribution to the citizens of the European Union, EFTA and beyond."
