The CEN Workshop on ‘Characterizing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) recyclates’ was kicked off on 12 April 2024. The public commenting phase on the draft CWA is now open.
This CEN Workshop (CEN/WS) is initiated by the SUNRISE project partners to develop a CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) on “Plastics – Recycled plastics – Characterization of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) recyclates”.
The CWA will define a method of specifying delivery conditions for PVB recyclates and will give the most important characteristics and associated test methods for assessing PVB recyclates intended for use in the production of semi-finished/finished products.
The goal of the CWA is to support the use of PVB recyclates by helping the involved parties to agree on the required specifications and promote quality controls and information on properties of PVB recyclates.
A public commenting phase on the draft CWA is organized for a period of 30 days, closing on 31 October 2024.
Comments can be submitted to the Workshop Secretariat Ms. Claudia Laabs (claudia.laabs@din.de) using the commenting form (available below).
The comments received will be considered by the Workshop participants before its publication.
