We norm the Future – Austrian Standards' new brand identity

In Austria, 4,860 experts from 2,880 nominating organizations are currently involved in standardization on a voluntary and unpaid basis. With 1,042 delegates at European level, Austria has a strong impact on the global standardization network and is actively involved in shaping standards. The new brand strategy of Austrian Standards reflects this attitude and self-image of the organization. The sharpened brand identity combines expertise, reliability and innovative strength.

Industry recognizes the value of standards

A representative survey conducted by the Market Institute on behalf of Austrian Standards shows that Austria's business community recognizes the benefits of standards. When asked which characteristics apply in particular, the 200 companies surveyed most frequently mentioned the following:

  •  46%: correct
  • 43%: competent
  • 40%: trustworthy

A new image with a clear vision

With its new brand identity, Austrian Standards presents itself in an updated, modern look. The brand strategy focuses on positioning the organization as an innovative partner for companies and specialists in times of change.

 

A new concept was developed for the practical implementation of the strategy, which is complemented by a targeted visual language and a standardized corporate sound, among other things. This should ensure a consistent perception on a visual and auditory level.
