On 28 June, members of the CEN and CENELEC European Policy Hub (EPH) organised an after-work get-together with Members of the European Parliament, their assistants and policy advisors of the political groups in Brussels. The aim of the event was to exchange views on the new European Standardization Strategy and other current political developments in the field of standardization.
On 22 and 23 March, CEN and CENELEC, together with ETSI and ZVEI (the German Electro and Digital Industry Association), co-hosted the online event “Standardization is back”.
On Friday 11 February, CEN and CENELEC were happy to host Kerstin Jorna, Director General of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), at their Brussels headquarters.

The European Commission recently organised a consultation on its roadmap of the “European Strategy for Standardization”.
